Rules
There are 2 major rounds of American Idol: the Semi-Finals (Top 24) and the Finals (Top 12). You will be voting differently for each round. The Top 6 and Final 2 are similar to the Top 12. Please be sure to read about the bonus too!
Top 24
Each week, the guys and the girls will perform separately. Two guys and two girls will be eliminated each week until 12 Idols remain.

60 points: All 4 elements correct
30 points: 3 elements correct
20 points: 2 elements correct

Top 12
The Bottom 3 will be revealed each week, with one Idol being eliminated.
You will be voting for ONE Eliminated and TWO Bottoms

50 points: All 3 elements correct, in the right order
30 points: All 3 elements correct, in the wrong order
25 points: Eliminated and ONE Bottom correct
20 points: BOTH Bottoms correct only

30 points: All 3 elements correct, in the wrong order
25 points: Eliminated and ONE Bottom correct
20 points: BOTH Bottoms correct only
15 points: Eliminated correct only

Top 6ish
The Bottom 2 will be revealed each week, with one Idol being eliminated.

Final 2
You will vote for ONE Idol to win.
20 points: Winner correct
Bonus
At any point during the game, you can choose who you think will win the entire competition. PLEASE NOTE that you may only do this once. If you choose a winner the first week, and that Idol is the first eliminated, you MAY NOT vote for a winner again. Each week, the number of points you receive for a correct guess goes down by 10. Choosing the winner in the Top 24 week would get you a bonus of 150 points. This bonus is only available through the Top 3.
